silly requests

I recently had a request from a client who booked one of our hotels.

"I have booked 2 beds, can you make sure they are in the same room?"

So, instructed the manager to keep knocking on their room door at strange hours of the night and looking in.

When the client would ask "what are you doing?"

i instructed the manager to say

"i'm just checking that the beds are in the same room"

Well, she DID ask us to make sure that the beds are in the same room...i mean, who knows, they may have changed rooms when we werent looking and then we would be failing in our customer service levels.
